I enjoy making images of people: my main interest is in facial expression. I want to express the individuality of, and the connections between, people. What does their facial expression and body language say about them and how they connect with others? And I like dogs. I have always wanted to make art and, after a long career in education and business, I'm doing that now. Dr Anne Forwood is a Melbourne based artist who has always lived in Victoria, apart from eight years in the Northern Territory. Anne completed a Diploma of Visual Art at RMIT University in 2014 and a Graduate Certificate in Visual Arts at the Victoria College of the Arts in 2018. Since 2011 her work has been shown in three solo and numerous group exhibitions. Her works are included in private collections in Australia and overseas.
